How long have you officiated weddings?
I began my ministry in February 2009, and I've truly loved every wedding I have had the honor of officiating.
Can we add a tradition in our ceremony?
Your ceremony is yours to design. You choose the traditions that feel meaningful to both of you.
Can we write our own personal wedding vows?
You will have full control over your ceremony vows. You can repeat after me or say those words that are meaningful to you as a couple.
What type of ceremonies will you perform?
Your ceremony should reflect who you both are. I can officiate Christian, non-denominational or full personalized ceremonies tailored just for you.
What are your rules as to photography?
There are no strict rules for photography. I work closely with your photography, so they know what to expect during your ceremony and I always step aside for "The Kiss" so that moment is all yours.
Are blood tests required?
No, the law requiring a blood test was abolished October 1, 1986.
Who can apply for a marriage license?
Any two people 18 years of age or older. A person age 17 with parental or guardian consent, provided the other party is no more than two years older.
How long is a marriage license good for once it's issued?
The license is valid for 60 days after issuance. The effective date and expiration date are noted on the license.
Do I have to apply for a marriage license where I live?
No, a marriage license can be applied for, and used, in any Florida county.
